Primary duties are personnel management of the field, report production, travel scheduling, quality assurance, and administrative personnel; financial reporting and management, customer coordination and briefings, and administrative functions for the project. All tasks are being completed successfully, on time, and under budget.STG program manager of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Security Control Assessment (SCA) and Testing project. This project primarily involved the development of over 30 SCA tests containing over 10,000 SCA test cases covering all NIST SP 800-53 controls with test cases mapped to NIST SP 800-53A control testing steps. SCAs were performed for the VA on various platforms and systems. All tasks were completed very successfully, on time and under budget.STG program manager for the Veteran’s Health Administration (VHA), Security Control Assessment (SCA) project. This was a $5,000,000 project involving more than 100 personnel directly and indirectly under the control of the project. It included more than 1000 testing trips, over 2 million miles of travel, and over 62,000 hours of contract work. Approximately 5,000 workstations, 1,000 servers, 1500 routers and switches were tested and reported upon. Physical security inspections were conducted at over 200 computer rooms and over 600 wiring closets. This culminated in the production of over 300 high quality, detailed Security Control Assessment Reports (several thousand pages each). The project took approximately 6 months, and it was completed on time and under budget. This phase of the project was followed by Continuous Monitoring, Certification and Accreditation Support for the VHA.
