• Led a software engineering organization comprising of six agile teams and 50 software engineers responsible for managing three AWS hosted platforms: - External facing customer portal for customer onboarding, KYC, and document exchange - Enterprise document management platform for Business Banking group - AI platform for data extraction & document classification

• Successfully setup second software engineering organization responsible for re-imagining our Know Your Customer (KYC) and document exchange experiences for Capital One's Commercial Bank. Delivery includes greenfield design and implementation of new front-end web experience for clients and integration with Salesforce to improve associate experience.

• Responsible for re-tooling twenty person legacy Database Administration team into a Data Engineering organization focused on Open Source and Amazon Web Services (AWS).• Cross-trained associates on emerging data technologies to drive operational efficiencies resulting in over a $1MM of contractor labor savings annually.

• Technology Lead for $30 MM program responsible for greenfield implementation of enterprise derivatives trading & risk management system. • Responsibilities included business case development, vendor selection, staffing, and overall technology program management.• Actively demonstrated strong partnership with senior system stakeholders with regards to: product and feature planning, release planning, and reporting on key operational metrics.

• Lead technology consultant during development of business case and vendor selection for derivative trading & risk management system. • Responsibilities included setup of system architecture and definitions for complex financial configurations to meet business and non-functional requirements.

• Earned Chairman’s Award at Genworth Financial for leading multi-year $10 MM project to implement operational processes and systems necessary to create new derivatives trading program.• Experience with leading global support teams responsible for a variety of enterprise financial systems inclusive of derivatives, investments, cash management, balance sheet management, risk, payments, accounting, and tax leading to well managed and controlled systems.
