I am a highly experienced finance analyst and accounting professional, the result of a large variety of finance related roles over an extensive career with General Motors. What I bring to any job is an unrivaled work ethic, high level of dedication and resilience, along with a strong attention to detail.I was particularly successful at reducing work via Excel techniques (VBA macros, PowerQuery, data sets and pivot tables) and spent a fair amount of my personal time learning new Excel automation techniques (via YouTube, etc.). I was almost always the Excel “go-to” person on the various teams I was on and conducted several Excel training classes over the years for GM employees.I spent over half my career effectively managing budgets. Key skills in this area involved being comfortable working with and assessing large amounts of data sets, cross functional team collaboration, organizational skills and presentation skills just to name a few.I bring a very positive “can do” mentality to any role and enjoy working with others.I might add that I was retained by General Motors through all the various GM salaried reduction initiatives over the years.
