Throughout my career, It has been my goal to help businesses grow and prosper. As a Human Resources Director and working with employees in various Safety, HR and Training positions in the transportation sector and in the Human Services sector my role has been one of Recruiter, Teacher and Coach.Over the last year, I’ve discovered my biggest passion is that of Coaching. Safety Manager-Vorad Program Manager & Driver DevelopmentAmerican Bulk Commoditites May 2007 - Dec 2013Designed and implemented the Driver Safety program for the trucking company and all affiliated companies.· Established a system of record keeping for safety data generated from the Vorad , Bendix and Qualcomm systems.· Established a system of safety benchmarks for all truck drivers. Since the Vorad program has been implemented in June of 2007, there has been a 60% reduction in "at fault" truck related accidents within the company.. Managed safety data for 400 company drivers.· Conducted both initial orientation training as well as remedial training for Drivers utilizing the Infiniti Training System.· Regularly met – either in person or teleconference with the drivers to discuss their Safety Data and to monitor their progress with the company.· Established a comprehensive safety awards system for drivers who consistently meet the benchmark standards of the Vorad Program.· Established partnerships with Bendix, Qualcomm and Eaton Corporations to Beta Test new products for the trucking industry. Through these agreements, I have worked closely with engineers from these companies in streamlining their products for everyday use in trucking.·Initiated and administrated the E-Logs program at the company. I have worked with both the Maintenance Department in setting the Qualcomm Systems for E-Logs and the Drivers in understanding how the system works. At this time, the drivers on E-logs have greatly reduced the number of errors on their driver logs.·Counsel Drivers on their CSA scores and have worked with both Drivers and Mechanics on reducing CSA points.
