Since 2005, B&A Environmental Services has attracted such clients as the City of Detroit, Chapman Law Firm, William Beaumont Hospital, and local Michigan universities and day care facilities. B&A inspects and does consulting work for more than 3,000 homes annually in Michigan, Ohio and Louisiana.B&A continues to grow with more than 10 employees some of whom are part of a second-chance education work program. We are partnered with DWEJ (Detroiters Working for Environmental Justice), a program that has developed a green jobs workforce training program funded through the National Institute of Environmental Health Services.B&A Environmental is a Michigan-accredited lead supervisory training facility, where students receive certification in the areas of lead management.Prior to starting the company, I worked as a field scientist and project manager for companies like the Traverse Group, Onsite Environmental Inc., and BDN Industrial Hygiene Consultants.

Managed asbestos and mold projects, which involved collecting and analyzing air samples for asbestos, lead and mold fibers. In addition to overseeing service activities, I was responsible for creating marketing campaigns and signing new accounts. Targets included: the City of Detroit, Detroit Public Schools, Wayne County and local universities.
