In addition to this, I identified new technologies that could be brought into the company to help push the state of the art of QorTek’s programs and through this I brought in additional business relationships and contacts for QorTek. I was the Principle Investigator on numerous government contracts for the DoD and NASA worth over $3M. My most recent example was being a successful PI on a MCSC program to provide 35kV of protection for the communication warfighter resulting in a patent (SBIR Phase I/II/II Option). My duties also included writing proposals based upon QorTek’s core business as well as bringing in a new focus area involving diagnostics and health management.
