As a Business Development Rep for Modernistic my main goal is to provide cleaning and restoration services to our commercial customers. The territory that I will be focus on is West Michigan along the lakeshore, up to Muskegon area, and to the west of Grand Rapids. I will help any business come up with a cleaning or restoration solution and make the process as “simple and quick” as possible!

Handle property claims through the Direct Repair Program. After going through normal claims process we offer clients an option of working with a contractor in one of our networks. We handle estimate negotiation directly with contractor as a service for the policyholder and pay the contractor directly for their work. The role is a combination of a claims representative and liaison between insured and contractor.

Conduct investigations of policyholders’ homes to investigate property damage. Use claims handling software, a company car, laptop, and digital camera to determine claims related damage and write estimates in a paperless environment.Use strong customer service skills to negotiate with policyholders to settle the claim.

Developed, estimated, priced accurately/profitably, prepared/presented, sold, project-managed, invoiced and collected a wide range of cleaning and restoration projects for decision makers.

Prepared for chamber events by developing handouts, newsletters, and PowerPoint presentations. Updated Social Media through event invitations, adding members, and uploading pictures from events.
