In planning, executing, and in the aftercare of operations, we ensure that the urgent work of mitigating improvised and conventional explosive threats is conducted expertly, by operators with extensive professional experience and current, globally recognised qualifications.Working against complex devices in challenging environments, operational teams work with local partners and international bodies to make areas safe for people to work and live, creating vital space for reconstruction. Operations in Iraq, Mali, Afghanistan and Pakistan, have not only allowed communities compromised by explosive devices to begin a return to safe and secure lives, but also built local capacity that can provide vital on-going work against explosive threats.In Iraq, we are currently clearing explosive hazards from areas liberated from Daesh, co-operating with and working alongside local partners and national and international institutions. We deliver world-leading expertise and practice to effectively and safely mitigate the acute threat of improvised explosive devices and other explosive hazards in communities that are now trying to rebuild. Our work is conducted responsively and openly, in regular communication with local people. In this way, we can help those populations understand what is being done to make their homes, communities and businesses safe, whilst consolidating that progress through risk awareness programmes, able to provide a legacy of support.

Iraq

Spearheaded all strategic and operational marketing and customer relationship activities in Iraq. Reported to corporate leadership regarding competitive trends, identification of prospective needs and forecasted pipeline on potential contracts to respond to changing security market requirements. Led administration of Iraq sales and marketing functions while driving the attainment of revenue, growth and profit targets. Planned and coordinated business plan implementation to support development of new service delivery lines. • Built strong relationship with Shell – Basrah Gas Company (BGC) leading to tender and award of the largest private security company contract to be awarded in Iraq from the US Military ($187M to $270M). • Secured significant four year contract with Samsung for all security services on largest brown field gas turbine construction site in southern Iraq, with total contract value of $210M. • Established and maintained contract relationship management with Shell – SIPD Majnoon Oilfield. Retained static security for SIPD installations with contract value of approx. $35M. • Managed build of Blue-chip Standard Charter Bank relationship, bid management and customer development for two years with contract value of $2M. • Introduced new security service into G4S Iraq with the tender and award of Electronic Security Systems for British Petroleum (BP Rumaila) Iraq; total contract value of $5M with high return, leading to repeat business. • Personally established strong client relationships and high value security contracts with major clients including, Huawei Communication, Toyota, Emirates, Amec Foster Wheeler, Kentz – SNC Lavalin, Wood Group, Canadian Embassy, Embassy of Japan, European Union (EU), USAID, Iraqi Airways, Tekfen Construction, ENKA Construction, Chinese National Petroleum Company (CNPC), and Ecolog – Catering Company.

Iraq

Oversaw contract review, delivery of service and financial growth for oil and gas sector accounts in southern and central Iraq. Managed contracts and conducted regular contract review meetings. • Increased contract value under direct management from $24M to $58M.

Afghanistan

Coordinated with US Military in supporting operations with Afghan National Police (ANP). Participated in mission planning, operational awareness, coordinating intelligence and accurate recording of serious incidents. • Succeeded in meeting specified project deliverables.

Iraq

Oversaw Department of State contract based in the International Zone (IZ), Baghdad. Directed contract services, security, logistic and HR functions. Managed 10-member team in securing up to 74 American clients and combined expat and local national security staff of 800 employees. Ensured accurate implementation of contract and programme, APT movements, static force protection and resident security teams (RST) in five locations of Kirkuk, Baghdad East, Baghdad International Zone, Hilla and Basra City. Customised security services in accordance with changing client needs and budget stipulations. • Increased contract value from $48M to $60M through additional security services and upsell on contract rates.

Iraq

Provided security as part of convoy escort team operating throughout Iraq. Coordinated 18-member team operating directly from the US Embassy Baghdad for CJ9. Ensured safe movement of senior US Military and Naval General Officers across Iraq by road and air. • Successfully delivered all services within demanding environment to high profile clients within US Embassy and military operations across Iraq.
