Born and raised in Sonoma County, I'm a true Bay native. While I was in school I worked full time for the technology podcast TWiT (This Week in Tech) with radio personality Leo Laporte. Over the course of those five years, I gained a wide variety of skills pertaining to digital media production and studio management. Returned to school and received a degree in Communications and Media Studies to supplement my workplace knowledge. Currently working for FNTECH as an Event Technician at the Meta Menlo Park campus. Prior to COVID I was Camera and Switch Op. Since work from home orders were implemented I have helped in developing new infrastructure for Meta internal communications, building skills such as using SSH Terminal commands to tunnel into virtual desktops on the Meta campus, connected to our encoders and codecs. As well as collecting RTMP server URLs and stream keys from clients for streaming events, often walking them through the process over Zoom in a polite, clear and simple manner. These days remote support is sort of my bread and butter, but I still have a pretty expansive background in broadcasting and studio work and am developing workflows for a future remote ROSS Carbonite platform.
Listed skills include Multi Camera Directing, Adobe Audition, Social Media, Video Production, and 43 others.
