Managed a 70,000 + square foot high-volume pick and pack distribution operation with responsibility for 17 direct reports. Was responsible for the support and supply of the manufacturing plant located in Cambridge, MA and 28 divisional warehouses located throughout the country. Worked with the Plant Manager and the Production Manager on coordinating in-bound rail shipments of raw materials (Pigments) and special imported (Fleck) from Italy in ocean containers. Other responsibilites were managing the company fleet of trucks delivering product to three states (MA, RI,NH) utilizing Hazmat endorsed drivers. Daily out-bound shipments consisted of 15 + truck loads manifested and shipped common carrier. Administered a 2-million dollar transportation budget with freight bill auditing done in-house.
