I am a videographer, producer, director, and film editor with an academic and professional background as a city planner, urban ecologist, project manager, educator, community advocate, and volunteer. My transition into broadcast media was promoted by my interest in television production, mentoring youth, and a desire utilize my experience as an environmentalist and community advocate.In 2012, I co-created Ambassadors Media with my then San Joaquin Delta College media professor Adriana Brogger. Since then we have begun developing a multimedia children’s program called Kid Ambassadors, ran a successful Kickstarter campaign earning over $5000. Recently, we obtained non-profit sponsorship under San Joaquin Family Resources and Referral Center and have established a production home at the Stockton Teen Impact Center. Our ultimate goal is to gain the momentum necessary to produce journalistic news segments, PSAs and ultimately a syndicated Kid Ambassadors series dedicated to our mission and GoLocal! agenda. Saul High School of Agricultural Sciences in Philadelphia (the largest farm-based school in the United States). My pedagogy is grounded in hands-on, project-based STEM projects and service-learning experiences. In 2020, I was awarded Lindback Award for Distinguished Teachers presented by the School District of Philadelphia.
