Being a great communicator and being really neat/clean and organized are my best traits. The hardest position for me to get into, as far as background and training, was for the Safety and Security Officer position at the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station. This was a hard job to get and keep, plus you had to train for 3 months BEFORE you could even enter the facility. I worked there from 1990 to 1991.Over the years, looking back, I would have to say my favorite job I ever had was being a Safety and Security Officer with Wellspan Health York Hospital from 2001 until 2003. This job had many functions and I learned a lot during my time there. If the financial side of this would have been better at the time, I probably would have stayed there. The hardest tests/exams that I ever have taken, was for my EMT Certification and my ServeSafe Food Certification, both thru the PA Dept. of Health. The toughest thing that I have ever had to do in my life was to make it thru, mentally and physically, the USMC boot camp for the military, right out of high school. The Marine Corp. makes it very tough on you. I grew up really fast after that and it changed me quite a bit. 1987-1990The most money I ever made from jobs was with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections at SCI-Camp Hill, first as a Corrections Officer and then in the Safety Office, as the Safety Specialist and Safety Manager. I also gained valuable training and experience doing the job and continue to use this now in my current positions. I retired from the State in April of 2021.The most fulfilling position I ever held was with a Patient Transport Company called Transcare Patient Transport. I was an EMT and drove patients to and from medical appointments and procedures. On and off, I did this for over 3 years and I logged many of miles driving locally and long distance. I really felt as thou I was making a difference. This would have around 1990-1993.One of my worst experiences over the years was in 1999 when I worked for a small grocery store chain and was their night manager. Being in retail is hard enough, but then add in the management side of it and the night part of it too. This was not an overall good experience at all. I had to order all the dry goods for the entire store weekly and restock the store daily, plus do the schedule and manage the crew. The less time at a job for me was in 2022 for 3 days, as a Safety Lead at a warehouse. This was just a big mistake and misunderstanding. Also, back in the day at a 911 dispatch center, I only worked there for 43 days.
