Greg is a Managing Director for BRAC International leading the global Ultra-Poor Graduation Initiative (UPGI). Founded in 2016 to move beyond Bangladesh, UPGI supports the expansion and implementation of the Graduation approach through advisory services and technical support to governments across Africa and Asia to strengthen Graduation with existing social protection systems. BRAC UPGI has worked with government partners in the Philippines, Kenya, Rwanda, Lesotho, Guinea, Zambia, India, and Pakistan, among others, adapting the approach to fit the local context. BRAC UPGI is scaling the Graduation approach through programming and policies, and partnering with national governments, peer organizations, civil society actors, and donors to lift millions out of extreme poverty.
