With over 10 years of experience in the social services industry, I am the Director of Veterans Services at County of Riverside, where I plan, organize, and manage countywide programs to inform and assist veterans and their dependents of their rights and benefits. I hold a Master of Business Administration degree, a Master of Organizational Leadership degree, and I am working on my Doctor of Strategic Leadership degree, which equips me with the knowledge and skills to lead and inspire my team and partners.I am passionate about developing and implementing effective programs, policies, and procedures; building strong relationships with community groups and individuals; and acting as a liaison between private and public agencies that benefit veterans. I have a focus on housing and homeless services, having previously worked as a Director of Inland Empire Housing Services and a Housing Manager for various nonprofit organizations. I am also skilled at team leadership, team building, process improvement, creative problem solving, volunteer recruitment, and community outreach. I lead an amazing group of talented and selfless individuals on a journey to support our nation's heroes. I am constantly learning, seeking new information, and innovating new approaches to serve and support veterans and their families.
