As a Christian Educator, it is my mission to educate the minds and disciple the hearts of my students so that they might be rooted and equipped for an abundant life in Christ's service. In my 12 years of experience in middle and high school classrooms, I have honed the typical skillsets of classroom management, curriculum planning and implementation, lesson-crafting and presentation, and assessment. In addition, I have an interest in program building; I enjoy generating ideas and paths that might encourage school growth and expand our impact. I have taken on several leadership roles within the Academy. I have planned, managed, and hosted school-wide educational events such as science, history, and culture fairs. I assist the the 11th grade class each year with their Valentine's Fundraiser. I also coordinate and plan the decorations and refreshments for the graduation reception each year with them. And finally, I'm thankful to have had the opportunity for the last 6 years to have been the planner, coordinator, and senior chaperone for the Capstone Retreat program that 12th grade graduates attend before their commencement.
