About Gregory Coté
Cleared Security Specialist Professional with years of experience and knowledge of National Security and Information Protection disciplines. I offer my expertise where I can and when it's relevant.I have served in two branches of the Armed Forces, as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Navy and the Air Force Reserves. I have experience in Security Forces both at home and deployed. I furthered my training in National Security by receiving Level V Certification in Homeland Security through the American Board of Certification in Homeland Security (ABCHS). Continuing my service to country, I started as a Federal Civil Service employee working with Commander Naval Region Mid-Atlantic in Emergency Services and then into the Operations Security Section. While a civil service employee I continued my education and received an Associate’s of Science degree in Social Sciences, Magna cum laude. I proceeded to take a position with U.S. Fleet Forces Command, an Echelon II level 4-Star command, working as the Assistant Fleet Security Specialist. During this time I received my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Summa cum laude. I also had the great opportunity to serve as a Women Peace and Security representative for Operation Allies Welcome, at Holloman AFB, to assist with the societal integration of Afghanistan refugees. I took a break in civil service to work in the private sector as the Senior Security Assistant for Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), at Operating Location Langley under the Kessel Run program. An opportunity opened to work in civil service as the AFLCMC Security Specialist at OL-Langley and this is the role I am currently serving. I seek to create positive results and to be an essential asset to a variety of teams contributing to the mission.
