Learning things daily, working with some great people including my previous manager Lawrence Wang. Have been designing layout of made to order racks of servers and helping sales in getting the customer what they want. Completed wiring of network cabling (CAT 5-6, SFP+, fiber optic) and testing to provide a plug and configure solution. Several of my proven skills have been put to use here and I have been involved in new product testing and providing engineering support to production.

• Understand the Thermo Fisher Scientific LTQ XL and Velos Mass Spectrometer. • Trained as Mass Spectrometer assembler in a clean room environment. Trained in Thermo Fisher manufacturing Kan-ban inventory replenishment. • Load software, perform vacuum leak check with helium on high vacuum chamber, and check for hydrogen leaks. • Test digital, analog, radio frequency boards, debug Mass Spectrometer. • Test, calibrate device creating accurate tune file and save backup, create compliance documents and prepare for shipping to customer.• Under direction of engineer, performed tests, collected data from experimental settings on mass spectrometer and submitted results. Responsible for understanding and making use of schematics.

• Provide network monitoring, troubleshooting and escalation for network outages threw the grave shift, Sunday and Saturday only.• Actively use web based tools; and contact escalation person based on Wiley network monitoring, emails from java scripts or, reports from Gomez.

• Monitor and troubleshoot a nationwide Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) network providing broadband communication services • Decrease network congestion for Internet Service Providers and telecommunication carriers by integrating and rerouting circuits on Cisco BPX and MGX switches• Implement Operational Support Services (OSS) Applications and databases including trouble-ticketing documentation• Diagnosis Frame Relay and Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) circuit problems• Implement remote upgrading of Nokia Digital Service Line (DSL) internet equipment via File Transfer Protocol (FTP)• Co-ordinate with Engineers on the deployment of new cost saving projects such as network grooming, remote line card shelves, and Permanent Virtual Circuit aggregation• Interface with all levels of ILEC representatives and management including company’s competitors and partners to initiate and expedite the repair processes.• Provisioning and remote testing on Cisco ONS.

Supported 800+ desktop operating systems, repaired computer hardware including hard drive, I/O cards, NIC card, memory cards, and motherboards. Installed, configured, and troubleshot software of IBM personal computers, Compaq, Toshiba laptops, modems, and LAN peripherals. Installed, configured, maintained and repaired network and local printers. Serviced, repaired, and maintained Nortel Phone Systems including diagnosis, programming, and/or line problems. Used telco testing equipment, Frame Relay line test sets, T-Carrier termination methods, and digital meters and wired internal trunk lines of PBX. Replaced and upgraded workstations, servers, and networking equipment with TCP/IP protocol and Fast Ethernet connection. Serviced and repaired Electro-mechanical equipment such as Fax machines, Teller Automation Unit (Cash Dispenser Machine), locks and combos. Serviced and repaired various alarm and surveillance systems. Provided training to new and inexperience technicians.
