The EQMS is an application profile used to describe qualifications and aimed at supporting linked open data (LOD) publishing of qualifications across Europe. The EQMS also facilitates the exchange of qualification information between different stakeholders across Europe and the Learning Opportunities and Qualifications in Europe (LOQ) and ESCO portals. The schema enables the distributed publishing of information on qualifications. I was, and still am, in charge of writing and updating user manuals destined to both business and technical oriented people. The manuals focus on the one hand on the usefulness of using LOD solutions for interoperability and on the other hand on explaining how to publish qualification datasets according to technical requirements. European Qualification Datasets Register (EQDR): Member States Support Visits (DG EMPL)The purpose of QDR is to support the European Commission in the implementation of a central qualification data portal.In order to help the different Member States publish qualification datasets according to the EQMS technical requirements, the European Commission (EC) decided to organise technical Member States Support Visits.I was, and still am, in charge of setting-up and managing the visits in question from both the business and technical side. I participate in every visit along with EC officials to explain the ESCO project as well as to provide input on how to best implement the requirements of the EQMS.
