    During my tenure at Allegion I've worked on a wide variety of projects to improve quality, cost, platforming, and overall design documentation. The projects listed below highlight some of the larger projects I have executed. -VAVE - Executed projects with accumulative savings greater than $2 million.--Part conversion from a zinc die cast part to a steel deep drawn stamping--Part conversion from a zinc die cast part to a plated injection molded plastic part.--Platformed pneumatic assembly to replace multiple unique low volume components with higher volume components and off the shelf pneumatic components.--Platformed electro-mechanical alarm assembly to replace multiple unique low volume circuit boards, with a single shared circuit board and shared mechanical components.-Quality--Redesigned electromechanical switch actuation to improve switch sensitivity. -Design Documentation--Created BOM's, drawings, part numbers, and configuration rules for the Zero International business unit, so it could be converted from a high volume job shop manufacturing model to a mass manufacturing model.-Sustaining--Managed the engineering side of dual sourcing ~50 investment cast parts.The manufacturing processes I've worked with while at Allegion are listed below.-Investment Castings-Zinc Die Castings-Aluminum Die Castings-Brass Die Castings-Brass Forgings-Roll Formed Parts-Progressive Stampings-Brake Press Formed Parts-Deep Drawn Stampings-Aluminum Extrusions-Rubber Extrusions-Brass Extrusions-Cold Headed Parts-Injection Molded Plastic Parts-Machined Parts-Powdered Metal Parts
