Mr. Kenyon's legacy includes restoration and conservation of art as the Chief Conservator of the Art Institute of Chicago. Since then, he moved to Steamboat Springs, where he owned Two Rivers Gallery, Northern Colorado's most successful art gallery. The Douglas Kenyon Collection is Mr. Kenyon's largest effort offering his exclusive eclectic western and historical photographic murals, his one of a kind Audubon collection and turn-of the century works by LA Huffman, Bessler, Walker Evans and William Henry Jackson, to the world.For the first time in history, these works, that are typically found only in museums, are available to hotels, law offices, pubic spaces as well as restaurants and private homes. Our unique reproduction process duplicates the original work beyond the capabilities of the original methods available before the 20th century. Images from the 1800s are now enhanced to perfect restored detail at sizes as large as 12 ft across. Colors and details have been restored, but the character and history has not been removed, making this collection the most authentic available.
