Responsible for accurate and precise fit up and welding of austenitic stainless steel pipe, tubing, flex conduit, bellows, and connections. Full penetration welds on a wide range of diameter and thickness of pipe and tubing. Facility is O2 compliant, B31.1 compliant, adherence to ASME Sections 8 and 9. I also perform in-process visual inspections on welds when our CWI/Quality Manager is not available. It is my goal to attain my Radiographic Testing and Penetrant Testing level 2 certifications through the ASNT during the coming year.

Responsibilities: Worked as an intermediary between our operations group and the rest of the company. Roughly half my time was spent fitting up and welding the most accurate and robust Coriolis Meters on the market, utilizing Pneumatic/Hydrostatic testing, soldering of electrical components, Induction Brazing, GTAW, and GMAW (both manual and semi-automated) welding a variety of alloys with extensive non-destructive testing. I promptly issued dispositions for Non-Conforming material and aberrant work that occurred in my areas and had a strong focus on training new and cross training existing employees. I helped to maintain compliance (ISO 9001/B-31.1/B-31.3, etc) for 2 of 6 product lines for a billion-dollar company running 4 shifts. I maintained a number of WPQR’s and held multiple process certifications adhering to WPS and PMAPS. The remainder of my time was spent working closely with our Environmental Health and Safety, Quality, Global Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling Design, Scheduling, Inventory, Maintenance, and Lean groups to maintain safety, quality, and increase throughput on my lines. For the product lines that I over saw, I was responsible for our compliance with 5S+1 principles, Operator Preventative Maintenance Schedules, Equipment Procurement and Calibration, as well as maintaining accuracy of our PMAPS. I attended Safety Leadership Training, Moments of Truth, worked on numerous cross functional CIP teams, have implemented a number of BIPs, and taken classes in Global Trade Compliance, Project Management, and Ethics. I was selected as one of 6 individuals from the Boulder facility to go through Kone Cranes training the trainer course in 2015 to become a designated crane/hoist and rigging trainer.
