CurrentThe Assistant Superintendent oversees all key aspects of the projects progress determines personnel, material, equipment, and facilities needed, establishes basic priorities and work sequences, maintains a balanced workload among subordinates through proper distribution of work projects and allotment of manpower. Lead project teams, working multiple projects, to perform contracted repairs that meets/exceeds our customers intent while delivering promising P&L results for the company. Responsible for the oversight of large land or vessel-based repair projects; including management of cost control and schedules, contractor selection, and interfacing with regulatory agencies. Supervise the timely and cost-effectiveness of maintenance, repair, modification, and refurbishment projects. Prepared and presented status reports to customers, project teams and executive leadership. Manage Contractors and/or shipyards during projects Work closely with representatives from various classification societies and governing agencies. Lead monthly, weekly, and daily meetings with customers to manage their expectations, execute the production schedule, and direct manpower to complete contracted work items.Present status reports to customers, project team and management. Supervise the timely and cost-effective maintenance, repair, modification, and refurbishment projects of current projects.
