Reporting to the Vice President of Perioperative Business Operations, monitor and oversee daily management and productivity of Operating Room IS staff. Proactively support implementation of perioperative technology, overall strategic plan for productivity, efficiency, and cost savings. Meet with end users to determine equipment and network needs and implement plans for safe and efficient use of technologies in the perioperative setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including other members of management, facilities, hospital engineering and safety, contractors and vendors to ensure ongoing projects have minimal impact on patients and staff. Technical liaison between IS staff, end users, and the software vendor community to implement, maintain, and upgrade perioperative technological tools and systems. Serve as Medical Laser Safety Officer for perioperative programs. Ensure and enforce compliance of laser safety policies and practices, coordinate preventative maintenance and service of all medical laser equipment.

Maintained and provided real time support for all computer workstations throughout Perioperative areas and satellite locations. Repaired, maintained, and supported video integration system for 34 Operating Rooms. Assisted management in evaluating technical issues and recommended procedural changes to improve efficiency and meet the end user’s needs.
