I oversee the information security and IT risk management programs for a San Antonio-based private university using industry-accepted information security and risk management frameworks.I develop and update policies and controls required to ensure a comprehensive security program. I served as an intelligence analyst embedded on a cyber investigative squad where I assessed data for intelligence value. I pieced together disparate data, which culminated to analytical judgments in the form of written intelligence products. As the San Antonio’s Information Systems Security Officer, I oversaw the ingress and egress of computers on a selective network enclave used by task force officers. I ensured these systems complied with FBI software and hardware policies and with systems life cycle management

Systems Administrator ManagerDuring Operation Iraqi Freedom, I served as the Information Systems deputy to the Automations Section Officer and as the senior systems administrator for a combat hospital medical task force. I oversaw the daily operations for a comprehensive medical enterprise system and provided automation and communications Tier I and Tier II helpdesk support at two separate field hospital locations, supervising a staff of over 20 active duty and national guard members.
