Road Planned Interventions Coordinator
CurrentResponsibilities include:Coordinating responses to all planned interventions including major projects across all areas of the metropolitan road network. Minimising traffic disruptions by implementing effective traffic management solutions and sequencing multiple planned events to avoid conflict and concurrent impacts to road users. Providing expert advice to stakeholders related to the design and development of complex traffic management plans. Coordinating the assessment of complex traffic engineering designs, and associated traffic management plans, for traffic control devices prior to regulatory approval. Reviewing applications for roadwork traffic management that falls outside of Australian Standards. Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate consistent application of traffic management policy, standards and intervention practices. Representing Main Roads on traffic management planning related committees and working groups.
