Gregory Georges is an award-winning master photographer and bestselling author of 10 photography books. He is known for his early adoption of digital photography, and for step-by-step instructions for transforming a “before” image into a fine art “after” print. His Digital Camera Solutions was the first book on digital cameras; it became a bestselling book for its publisher, Muska & Lipman Publishing. He is the creator and founding author for the successful “50 Fast” book series by John Wiley & Sons. Georges’s second book, 50 Fast Digital Photo Techniques, became an Amazon “Top 25? bestseller. Later, his Digital Photography Top 100 Simplified Tips & Tricks became Wiley’s all-time bestselling photography book at that point. His photography and writing have been published in many magazines including: The New York Times Magazine, Sports Illustrated, Studio Photography, Shutterbug, eDigital Photo, Inside Lacrosse, Digital Output, andDigital Creative Arts. He has earned numerous awards from PPA, SEPPA, WPPI, and Black and White Spider Awards. In 2008 Georges entered PPA’s international print competition. He received seven merits, was honored as Photographer of the Year, and had a black-and-white print included in the prestigious PPA Loan Collection. In his third year of competition, he again became PPA’s Photographer of the Year, had two Loan Collection prints accepted by PPA, and earned his PPA Masters Degree. Prior to becoming a full-time photographer and author, Gregory worked in marketing and sales in the software industry including a five-year stint in England. He earned a B.S. degree in business with honors, double majoring in marketing and management, from the University of Utah.
