Regarded as the worst natural disaster in recorded history to affect those islands and was also the deadliest Atlantic hurricane since Mitch in 1998.• Mission Command and authority of over 150 Government Civilians, Defense Contractors, and Soldiers in the Joint Operations center, Land Component Branch, Knowledge Management Branch, Aviation Branch, Personnel Recovery Branch, Air and Missile Defense, JOPES, and Geo Spatial.
