The quality measurement team acts as an internal research agency to the product development, technical, marketing and insights teams. The role involves conducting online consumer studies and surveys to generate actionable insight. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Organising and managing trials, prioritising the work in line with timelines for product launches.• Maintaining the high standards of the Tesco Home Panels team in conducting product trials and undertaking any of the administrative work that this entails (e.g. answering panellist queries over the phone, corresponding accurately and in a timely manner to panellist emails and monitoring of panellist feedback to maintain the quality of the panel).• Assembling various sets of data and analysing, identifying any detail that may support product development.• Generating timely reports and attending meetings to share information gathered with both internal teams and external 3rd party suppliers.• Working to meet tight deadlines, organising and working with 3rd party research suppliers where time lines are too constrained for myself and the team.• Supporting with the continued improvements to our methodologies by staying abreast of research developments and changing practises where necessary.• Undertaking ad hoc projects and surveys to support other areas of business development.

As part of a department reorganisation to move from a paper to digital service, the temporary role involved working as an archiving and quality assurance assistant. Responsibilities included scanning, reviewing and indexing large site/case files for easy consumption by both case officers and laypersons alike paying specific attention to the quality and detail of the documentation. This required development of the internal indexing system itself that was comprehensive and easy to use by case officers and administrative staff. Additionally the role involved quality checking the planning register and indexing system paying close attention for any potential errors, investigating those found and correcting where necessary.
