About Gregory Greer
My first experience in the field of Recovery was in 1985-86 with Michael Duffy (former Assistant Secretary at State of Louisiana) educating high school students with theatrical performances. Having a background in stand-up comedy while in Los Angeles (many moons ago), theatre, and radio, I wish to market my presentation which is motivational speaking that seeks to inspire participation in group therapy that participants can define and re-define their 'identity' based on human development in the family of origin with interjecting the A.A.12-step spiritual model of recovery.I am a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC). I obtained a masters in social work from Louisiana State University in 2008 and pursuing my LCSW. I am a Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) and clinical member of American Group Psychotherapy Association with clinical approaches including Gestalt, Existentialism, and Systems Theories, I feel that "Group Psychotherapy is my passion where we can address the underlying issues that keep us in bondage, our family and friends in bondage; and, stunts our spiritual growth from experiencing life and our relationships to the fullest."
