NCOs in the S-2 shop also maintain sensitive, and often classified, equipment used in the collection, dissemination and exploitation of intelligence. S-2 NCOs often go on missions with battalion commanders during deployments to gather first-hand information for later use.

This will include maintaining batteries to be rotated, charged and ready for deployment.- Assist NMSO with equipment calibrations and checks one a day a week. - Medical Administrative & Preventive Medicine:- Perform monthly EPAT & quarterly PAT - Assist MOO with biannual (or 2-3 records a month) medical record checks to in sure records are keep IAW AR 40-66.- Assist MOO with monthly inspection of unit immunization tracking record to keep SM’s up to date with immunizations and properly documented in MEDPROS & medical record.-Ensure quarterly radiation tracking sheets are properly maintained in SM’s medical records.- Assist PA with annual occupational health PE’s & respiratory protection program.- Assist PA with daily sick call.- Update SOG & Section SOP post every unit exercise as appropriate.- Attend unit staff & training meetings as needed. -Individual & Unit Training Responsibilities:- Organize and assist with annual Combat Life Saver Class- Perform 1-2 classes a month on unit medically relevant conditions.- Perform 0800hrs pearls of wisdom class on medical section assigned days.- Assist NMSO with Wednesday analytical class with survey- Perform medical classes & responsibilities 3 days/wk as mission allows.- Maintain CEU’s annually to keep up with 68W certifications.- Maintain NGB certification by staying compliant with CST training matrix.- Complete BS degree from accredited university with in one year.
