Gregory Hanusey is a Vice President, Senior Risk Control Consultant for Conner, Strong & Buckelew and assigned as the Risk Safety Director for the Michaels Organization. He is responsible for developing, implementing and directing risk control and safety programs using a strategic and tactical approach with our large and geographically dispersed clients. His core competencies include risk and safety administration, regulatory compliance, training and development, mentoring, policy & procedural development, physical safety audits and inspections, and disaster planning. He is assigned as the Risk Safety Director for The Michaels Organization which is comprised of nine integrated but independent companies (Michaels Development Company, Interstate Realty Management, Michaels Military Housing, Michaels Management Services, Prestige Building Company, University Student Living Development, Prestige Affordable Housing Equity Partners, Continental Mortgage Corporation and University Student Living Management). Operations are located in thirty-five of the United States, the District of Columbia and the US Virgin Islands.Greg has over 35 years of progressive experience in a variety of risk and safety disciplines. Prior to joining Conner Strong & Buckelew Risk Control and The Michaels Organization, he was the Corporate Director of Risk Control for the Caesars Entertainment Corporation which was comprised of 70,000+ employees and more than forty casino, hotel, racetrack and golf course locations along with aviation and commercial laundry divisions across fifteen states. During the last seven years of his leadership the corporation posted OSHA Recordable Injuries and Lost Time Incident results consistently 20% to 40% below the USDOL industry average.
