Music changed my life. Respectfully, I am going to innovate, create, and change the world as it has done for me.Always questioning and pushing the boundaries of current technologies and theories. Experienced in recording techniques, coding software, acoustics, live sound/lighting, loudspeaker design, and a hands on learner. Skilled in COMSOL Multiphysics, Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, MAX MSP, Autodesk Fusion / Inventor, XCode(C and Swift) and MATLAB. Obtained a bachelors of science in Audio and Music Engineering with highest distinction, including minors in both physics and music from the University of Rochester. Completed a Fulbright Scholarship in the United Kingdom at the University of Southampton Institute of Sound Vibration with a master’s in Acoustical Engineering. Currently at Duke University as a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering supported by the National Science Foundation and Alfred P. Sloan Foundation researching acoustic metamaterials and electroacoustics.

Teacher Assistant - Sound Design & Audio Engineering, Acoustics & Music To FilmUniversity Of Rochester Aug 2018 - May 2020Rochester, New York AreaJunior and Senior year I had the privilege of helping assist my professors in teaching four courses, two in the fall and two in the spring, at the University of Rochester Audio and Music Engineering Department. For the fall, I am involved with AME 140 which is the freshman introduction class to the major. For this class I engage with students helping them understand and complete their homework and laboratory assignments. I also attend lab sessions every other week preparing for the workshops and also help during the lab hours to teach students and familiarize them with the equipment. The other class is AME 193, the highly competitive sound design course on campus. I work close with the professor organizing hardware like analog synthesizers, handheld portable microphones, computers, MIDI Controllers, and other various audio equipment. I attend each class and get my hands dirty right away jumping into student stations and teaching them the software taught in the course. I also hold office hours where students come to ask questions and get more experience on producing compelling sound design for commercials and video clips. Similarly in the spring I help teach AME 233 Acoustics, a higher level course focused on the physics of sound and electroacoustics. I grade, create tests, proctor exams, and hold office hours to enhance the students experience with the course. The other class, AME 194, is an extension of the fall sound design engineering course but instead focuses on the creation and implementation of music to video. Industry leading composers come to proctor classes, and even myself teach some days when needed. I help grade, and attend every class to guide students in learning techniques and the software. I also hold office hours for anyone that needs help weekly. -
Undergraduate Research AssistantUniversity Of Rochester May 2018 - May 2020Rochester, New York AreaA few years ago the ECE department at the University of Rochester gave birth to a new program called Audio and Music Engineering. This degree is very specific to the study of acoustics, recording, and audio. The research revolving around the department involves work in spatial audio, loudspeakers, and other related fields. I am very grateful to be working on a new revolutionary technology: Flat Panel Loudspeakers. This is not the old procedure of just sticking a driver on a picture and saying it's worth three grand. No, here at the University of Rochester I help explore the acoustic properties of the flat panels including frequency patterns, modal shapes, and sound radiation. I construct and develop new methods on top of current research already finished in hopes of discovering a flat frequency response loudspeaker analogous to conventional loudspeakers in the market today. -
