Hi, my name is Gregory Hilbert! I'm currently transitioning from 13 Years in retail leadership at Walmart to a career in IT and cybersecurity. Throughout my whole life, I've always been the "technology guy". That being said, I fully admit that everything I've learned over the past year in my IT journey has humbled me. There is so much more to networking than 99.9% of the population will ever realize, and I do not take this career transition lightly. During my time at Walmart the past 13 years, I've held numerous supervisory and management roles. I have managed to thrive in any position by not only utilizing myself, but the talent around me to its fullest potential. I pride myself on constantly growing myself and those around me. Some highlights of my Walmart career include:-Reduced fresh waste by $131,000 in fiscal year 2020, while driving double digit sales increases-Led repeat record annual inventory results for Walmart Pharmacy and several other areas within the company-Trained and developed several future leads and managers within the company, including market directors-Helped convert the Toyota Plant from a Walgreens Pharmacy to a Walmart Pharmacy-Achieved the highest ranking in the market for meeting vaccine quotas through patient education initiatives(Over 400 expanded vaccinations in fiscal year 2024)-Maintained a weekly theft prevention/deterrence average of 20-25 people, helping minimize loss and protect assets.
