CurrentReports directly to the President and is responsible for maintaining the College’s fiscal health and ensuring efficient administrative functioning and supports the College’s overall mission, strategic plan, and goals. As the CFO/VPAS key collaborator and facilitator in achieving consensus, building productiveteams, and leading action around key College strategic interests that are informed by the College’s core values: integrity, excellence, empowerment, inclusiveness, collaboration and stewardship.Serves as an enthusiastic ambassador for the College, promoting and sustaining its commitment to excellence in service, innovation, and success for diverse learners. Responsive to emerging issues, trends, and community needs. Through the lens of student success, sustains and advances MCC faculty, staff, and programs that underpin the College’s regional and national reputation as a leader among best practices institutions. The major functional departments under the overall direction of the CFO/VPAS include Finance/Budget, Risk Management, Accounting & Cash Management, Technology Services,Facilities, and Public Safety. The CFO/VPAS responsibilities also include Physical Plant, EngineeringServices, Capital Improvement Plan, Custodial, Security, Facilities, Public Safety, Environmental, Health& Safety, Parking Services and Risk.
