Greg concentrates his practice on complex litigation, environmental and land use law, and construction law. His environmental practice focuses primarily on complex superfund litigation and natural resource damages claims under CERCLA and Washington’s Model Toxics Control Act. Greg represents clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 100 companies in matters involving contaminated property remediation, and frequently counsels clients on environmental risk and liability strategies (analysis of cost recovery options, potential pursuit of contribution claims against prior owners and operators, and consideration of coverage claims against insurers); negotiates remediation agreements, access agreements, and settlement agreements; and prosecutes or defends environmental claims under applicable state or federal law. He also has substantial experience representing clients in multi-party allocations, and has been extensively engaged in three of the largest Superfund sites in the Pacific Northwest. Greg is an experienced construction law attorney. He represents owners and developers, general contractors, and subcontractors in a variety of matters, including drafting and negotiating construction contracts, and litigating lien foreclosure actions, construction defect claims, and complex construction claim disputes.In addition to his environmental and construction practice, Greg has also litigated a variety of other cases, ranging from commercial contract and business disputes, to personal injury and product liability actions. Greg has extensive experience managing complex litigation in state and federal court, and has represented clients through mediation, arbitration, administrative proceedings, and trial.
