I became a trainer for assistive technology in 2008. In 2010, I joined Integration Technologies Group and became Lead Trainer and a member of the Accessibility Solutions Group. Over the past 9 years, I have received certifications in ZoomText from AISquared, JAWS from Freedom Scientific and BrailleNote Touch from HumanWare. As a subject matter expert in Assistive Technologies, I have trained end users one on one, nationwide, on Fusion, ZoomText, JAWS, K1000, K3000, OpenBook,and Dragon NaturallySpeaking. In addition, I teach a class titled Introduction to Adaptive Technologies to IT professionals nationwide. This five day course provides attendees a thorough understanding of adaptive products (both software and hardware) and a basic understanding of how they operate.
