I have worked in the repair industry over twenty years now. I started as student in the Heavy Equipment Mechanics program at SIAST in Saskatoon and made it full circle when I was blessed to work as an instructor for that same program many years later. I spent many years as a technician working at Kenworth in Saskatoon and gained my Red Seal Truck and Transport ticket there. After 13 years with Custom Truck Sales an opportunity to move into the Heavy equipment industry came along. I spent the next 5 years working as a Heavy Duty technician at a northern mine site in Saskatchewan. I Studied for and completed my Red Seal Heavy Equipment mechanic ticket here. The mine shut down in 2016 and I made a move into the instructional field when I achieved a position with Saskpolytech as an Instructor in the HETT Program. The next 7 years went by in a blink of the eye, enjoying the period I worked for Polytech and advancing my education through multiple Adult Teaching and Learning courses. Having an opportunity to move into a position where I could become a product specialist during the summer of 2023 was to good to pass up, so I made the jump over to CNH Industrial and joined the sprayer technical support team. I look forward to the challenges that will come hand in hand with this job.
