Statistical analysis of the simulations were carried out in R and Approximate Bayesian Computation was used to estimate model parameters fit to in vitro data. Helped develop CUDA-based GPU code and a python wrapper which numerically optimized the geometries of high-temperature superconductors that maximized the allowable current to be passed. I also did theoretical work on the theory of phase-slips in narrow superconducting channels subject to an external current.

Taught chess part-time to elementary and middle school kids while attending University of Florida. At one point had up to 10 students having 15-20 hours of lessons per week. Many of my students became nationally ranked in their respective age groups and one became K-3 state champion.I also helped organize chess tournaments and helped run a chess summer camp in 2009 and 2010.After graduation, I continued teaching chess to children in NYC from summer 2011 to may 2012.
