Greg has worked in the financial services industry since 1977, with experience in investment management, wealth management, trustee company and custody, as well as retail and commercial banking.Greg had a successful executive career as a CEO, and previously as a senior corporate executive. His Board experience includes Executive and Non-Executive Chairmanships, and Directorships across the financial and fintech segments domestically and globally.Greg made a sea change in 2010, traversing from the institutional sector into self-employment leading a small portfolio of early stage and/or start up businesses. This followed successfully concluding a 24 month post as Chief Executive, Challenger Financial Planning, selling the business to AXA APH at a significant multiple in the midst of the GFC in June 2008, then agreeing to a request from AXA to lead the businesses through an integration process over an 18 month period ending on 31 December 2009. Greg continued to have an association as the sole Non-Executive Director until 31 March 2011. Greg more recently transitioned from Executive Chair of the Board of Implemented Portfolios Ltd, following selling the business to Lonsec Holdings. Greg recently held Non-Executive Directorship roles with Implemented Portfolios Ltd (since stepping down in November 2023), and Profusion PAC Holdings Pty Ltd, together with several private companies.Greg brings a wealth of leadership experience and strategic thinking to a business, has a strong track record in successful business transformation, and several M&A transactions on both the buy-and-sell side.Greg has a passion and an unrelenting belief that a great business can only be built around quality people, working in a high performance culture, where the interests of the shareholder, staff and clients all converge.Specialisation: ASIC AFSL licensed entities, APRA regulated trustee boards, and Charitable Foundations since 1991, including The Queensland Charitable Foundation and Sylvia and Charles Vertel Foundation.
