Lineman
Hold a Class A CDL License up to 80,000 lbs. In addition to doing standard telephone work such as placing and removing poles.We also placed aerial and underground cable as well as "buried" in an open trench as well as inner duct.Acted as an instructor for other lineman needing a CDL license as well because we not only pulled a loaded pole trailer or cable trailer both in excess of 26,000 Lbs. After retirement,worked for a nurseryman for 7 years until his retirement.In this vocation I drove his dump truck making deliveries of top soil and mulch to various customers who chose to spread it themselves,or we would do so.Planted trees and shrubs as well,however we were not grass cutters! Also built some stone walls and wooden decks.I am a FCC licensed Extra Class operator with the callsign W2MYA.This I have been doing for 58 years.I climb radio towers to install,remove or work on ham radio antennas.
