As a Critical Facilities Engineer at BGIS, I operate and maintain the mechanical, electrical, and controls infrastructure of mission-critical facilities, such as data centers, telecom centers, and hospitals. I ensure the reliability, availability, and efficiency of these systems, while adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.I graduated from Cleveland Community College with an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Mission Critical Operations and General Education, as one of the first students to complete this pioneering program. I received multiple honors and awards for my academic excellence and leadership skills, such as the North Carolina Space Grant, the National Technical Honor Society, and the Phi Theta Kappa. I also obtained several certifications in operations technology and information technology, such as the OSHA 10-Hour Certification, the Mission Critical Operations - Operations Technology Foundations Certificate, and the Mission Critical Operations - Information Technology Foundation Certificate. I am currently working towards my CCNA and A+ Certifications to further enhance my skills and knowledge in the field.
