Working at a growing engineering company i have participated in 4 vehicle development projects, such as the line of M3 buses (electric and IC), M1 EV, L6e and L7e micromobility EVs. In those projects my main role was to provide 3D CAD assembly of the certain system or the area of the vehicle, which defined the overall packaging of the car.In earlier projects my daily job included:- 3D modelling of parts and assemblies in CATIA v5 (bodyparts, wire harness tracing, pipes and hoses routing);- communication with tech specialists from suppliers side;- search of commonized, cost&mass effective packaging solutions;- homologation checks (ECE);In the latest projects i am taking more proactive tech lead role, which includes:- packaging of components of several systems: powertrain, hvac, lights, wipers.- collaboration with Body Design in section development and review, collecting packaging hardpoints for Style correction.- leading the team of 3 junior designers to provide correct 3D models for packaging analysis (creating parts from scans and drawings);- tech support of the Sourcing activities: RFI/RFQ specs development, technical discussions with suppliers.- conducting interviews for junior designers.I see the following personal qualities as my main contribution to the project:- clear communication with designers;- using meetings time efficiently by having agenda, defining the next steps; - ability to compile a clear presentation for project management;- understanding the decision matrix importance for making proper judgements and project progress;- constant CAD skills growth. I love 3D modelling, love learning new functions of the software to make better models faster;- close communication with the team ensuring healthy working environment
