Greg’s 38+ years of experience working with educational institutions and schools is multifaceted. As a highly qualified leader in Facility Management and Operations, he serves multitudes of not only Texas school districts, but in other states as well. Greg is a Life Member of the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) where he holds a CTSBO certification and has received the prestigious certification of Quality Commissioning Process Provider (QCxP) through the University of Wisconsin. He has also served as a Board Member of Custodial Management Association of Texas (CMAT). In 2009, Greg assisted the United States Department of Energy (DOE) in preparing the Guide to Operating and Maintaining Energy Smart Schools to educate school districts across the nation in energy conservation. He has served as Executive Director of Facilities Support Services, for Harris County Department of Education (HCDE), Houston, Texas. HCDE provides services to 25 public school districts. Greg has served as Director of Facility Services at Region IV Education Service Center (ESC4), Houston, Texas. The ESC4 serves 1.2 million students. Currently, Greg serves as Director of Business Development for KingsClean an industry leader in commercial cleaning processes for large complex facilities throughout multiple states. He is on the board of the National School Plant Managers Association. And, he is President and CEO of L&S Associates in Montgomery, Texas. Greg and his highly qualified and educated “team” provide Facility Consulting in Departmental Operational Reviews, Training, Facility Design and Construction Management assistance, and Facility Maintenance & Operations Management. Greg is a veteran of the U. S. Navy and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering: Industrial Technology. As a lifelong learner, he has developed multiple training programs with customized curriculum for maintenance, operations and support departments with a contemporary approach founded upon data driven research. Greg continues to serve as a consultant, trainer, presenter and instructor for Facility Academies and affiliate meetings as well as for numerous school symposiums in national arenas.
