Began Surveying as a Rodman in 2003. I have experienced different types of survey, from Boundary Topographic to Utility Layout with Centerpoint Energy. I have several years of experience with Oil and Gas (Pipeline) survey as well. Lead Surveyor for Peterson Beckner Industries for a Plant Expansion at Formosa Plastics in Point Comfort, TX. In 2019, I joined Balfour Beatty Infrastucture Inc for the role of lead/sole Surveyor of the NEWPP Expansion Project here in Humble, TX. Responsible for calculating coordinates using provided construction drawings, layout, as well as maintain location and elevation on all erected concrete structures and all installed mechanical equipment. Assist all craft in efforts to ensure the proper erection and installations of all structures and equipment. Design build adjustments (RFIs) and corrections to all calculations. Perform necessary layouts for excavations and checks using Trimble Robotics and GPS. Monitor all erected structures for settlement and/or movement throughout the duration of the project. Maintain all records and as-built. Supervisor of several crews in efforts to train as well as contribute to furthering myself and peers careers and experience in survey.
