I was part of the team that effectively represented clients in the following transactions:• A $40 million recapitalization and management led buyout of a leading consumer goods packaging manufacturer;•Follow on stock offering for an emerging technology company;•Formation of an $11 million private real estate investment fund;•$8 million construction loan facility for a leading real estate development company; and•$2 million acquisition of a regional lumber yard through a Section 363 bankruptcy sale.

Perform factual investigation and legal research and draft motions, discovery documents, and memoranda in connection with corporate, trusts and estates, and workers’ compensation insurance litigation. Assist with client meetings, depositions, and state and federal trials and appeals.

Supervised twenty-two personnel in the operation and maintenance of ship’s auxiliaries systems including the ship’s steam system, four air conditioning plants, and ship’s potable water system. • Continuously ranked as a top junior officer.• Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure Officer for ship’s deployment to the Persian Gulf and Horn of Africa, leading 18 sailors in anti-piracy operations in support of the Global War on Terrorism. Supervised seven personnel in the operation and maintenance of all hull and piping repairs and the operation of all shipboard Damage Control Systems. • Directed the replacement and installation of ship’s Self Contained Breathing Apparatus during an extended ship’s maintenance period. All maintenance was completed on time or ahead of schedule. Awarded Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for superb performance. • Served as assistant Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure Officer leading 18 sailors during Bunker Hill’s Western Pacific deployment 2004-2005. Awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for actions. • Implemented an internal trouble call log in order to prioritize ship’s major repairs and reducing customer wait time by 25%.
