Employed at Absa for 16 years within IT, and occupied numerous roles from Operator - to Command Centre Management, then entered the distrubuted computing world and later managed all Absa Contact Centres from an IT perspective, Regional Network Centres. Was part of the team that build the Absa Contact Centre in Auckland park.Then moved to Virgin Money and setup the Contact Centre infrastructure, Applications, IT Related Processes, BCM & DR and conduct tests.Then moved back into Absa and headed up Distributed Computing for about 1.5 years - the key role was managing the the outsourcing partnerThereafter moved into Standard Bank and managed Voice and Contact Centres, and later was employed as the Global Messaging Manager, managaging E-mail, Blackberry, lotus notes, Active Directory etc....etc....During October 2011 moved into Liberty to head up Retail IT Service Manangement responsible for:- 1) To Manage IT Infrastructure & Application Delivery to the Retail Business - The objective was to ensure IT and Application stability, Ensure Infrastrasture and Application changes were implemented as per plans and with a high percentage of success, understand business strategy and ensure IT delivers according to the strategy, Manage IT Risks2) Manage the Intermediary / Broker IT Help desk - ensure staff management and ensure Customer Service was at the top our priority3) Manage 2nd Line Application Support - this team was part and particle of all Application Releases and Project Implementations.
