Gregory is a counselor, educator, and organizer with expertise in cultural diversity, community development, and mindfulness facilitation and training. Committed to working collaboratively across fields, backgrounds and experiences, Gregory aspires to galvanize transformative systemic changes capable of meeting the challenges of the times.Gregory currently serves as academic counselor for the African American Initiative and Educational Opportunities Program at UC Berkeley. Working alongside colleagues and students from communities historically targeted by white supremacy and systemic oppression, he works to cultivate ecosystems of wellness, empowerment, and sustainability. Utilizing intersectionality to center how a person's social and political identities combine to create different modes of discrimination and privilege, Gregory aims to embed equity and justice, holistic development and wellness into spaces designed to cultivate leadership, academic excellence, all while celebrating the lived experiences of students of color.
