Working as a resource scheduler for a telecommunications firm specifically dealing with high end Mitel, Cisco and cabling engineers. My role as a resource scheduler is to maintain the engineer’s diaries throughout the UK booking in any fault work, Install or project work that comes in. Dealing with any emergency faults that need an engineer to attend within a certain SLA or either passing them to the on call engineer. Liaising with the regional managers for any escalations that arise or any training the engineers need to be booked for. Part of my role also includes dealing with senior management/ Directors regarding complaints, projects or urgent installations. This also includes taking ownership of these to make sure the engineers have the correct equipment and skill set to complete the works and the customer satisfied with the work. Updating customers via email or phone with regards to engineers attending site for either access or attending out of hours. I also dealt with many different sub-contractors regarding any project, install or fault work we may need attending. Updating customer service folders with any changes to customer locations or other information. I also dealt with a number of internal colleges ranging from customer services to project director. Also providing on call out of hours support for scheduling once every 4 weeks. I have also provided training to new members of staff joining the company.
