Self-motivated research chemist with a strong background in materials characterization and analytical techniques. Skilled in microscopy (SEM/EDS, TEM, STEM, AFM), x-ray diffraction (PXRD, x-ray crystallography) and other materials and small molecule identification and characterization techniques (raman, FTIR, XPS, NMR, electrochemical analysis, DSC, TGA, pore-size analysis, titration and RF shielding). Experience with the synthesis and analysis of many different systems including nano lithium metal phosphates for lithium-ion batteries, glassy ceramics (geopolymers), metal oxides, and thin films of metal carbides. Passionate problem-solver and always on the lookout to learn and innovate.
