Thriving in the heart of Medline Industries for over two decades, I've played a pivotal role in our growth from 11 Distribution Centers (DCs) to a robust network of 44 today. Recently promoted to Senior Vice President of Enterprise Applications, I spearheaded critical "Tier 1" applications, including SAP and our Logistics/Distribution systems, after our acquisition by Blackstone/Carlyle/Hellman & Friedman. Leading a team of three Vice Presidents, I ensured seamless alignment of technology with our strategic objectives.

Promoted through the ranks, I steered the IT department through significant growth, overseeing 150+ domestic and offshore staff. Responsible for ERP, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Compliance, Payroll, and Human Resources systems, I contributed to the development of the annual IT Operating Planning process, emphasizing cost management, optimization, and solution delivery effectiveness.Highlights: Leadership in IT integration efforts during the acquisition of an $800 million manufacturing/distribution company, orchestrating the integration of seven warehouses and a manufacturing facility. I also was responsible for the management of high-impact projects, including robotic "Goods-to-Person" picking systems, PeopleSoft HR/Payroll implementation, and FDA regulatory compliance initiatives.

I managed the successful upgrade of SAP from R/3 4.0B to ECC 5.0, leading a team of over 30 people to execute the upgrade on time and within budget. After the upgrade project, I had oversight over application teams focused on the Supply Chain areas: WMS, TMS, Inventory Planning/Forecasting, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Regulatory and Master Data. I was also accountable, along with others in senior management, for the strategic planning of our Information Technology department. Collaborating across functional domains, I led a team through diverse supply chain challenges, contributing to the creation of Medline's Project Management Office (PMO).

As manager of our Warehouse Management Systems team, I was accountable for the implementation and support of our WMS, TMS and manifesting systems in 25 warehouses nationally. I was accountable for a team of analysts and developers to implement enhancements and provide day-to-day systems support for our distribution network.

As an analyst, I implemented an enterprise TMS and a parcel manifesting system to support our distribution network. I also had a role as an an analyst on our SAP R/3 system, focusing on FI/CO, MM/PP and SD modules. I also was responsible for the definition, coordination and execution of a large system test in the implementation of R/3 version 4.0B.

As a solutions consultant, I learned the practice of Information Engineering: using Data and Process Modeling techniques to design and deliver solutions via systems.
